@@@@ My profile

@@I am Sachiko, born in Saitama Prefecture
where is just next Tokyo in 1977.

@@I'm living here in Metro Manila where is capital of
the tropical islands, Philippines
with sweet husband and two children.

@@My favorite Filipino food is Sinigang because I like sour foods!
Especially in hot weather, sour and gingery foods work on my appetite.
My dislike Filipino foods are fats, salty, and too sweet foods.

@@My favorite resort in the Philippines is Boracay Island
where is the most popular beach resort in the Philippines.
There are beautiful white sand and colorful corals with lots of tropical fish.
(However, it's expensive place because many foreigners visit there
although it's just a small island.)

@@Now, I'd like to talk about my own personal history.

@@I grew up in Japan and entered certain securities company (stock company)
after graduated from university,
but I couldn't give up my dream of living abroad
which I've been vaguely dreaming about
since I was a junior high school student,
and I finally quit the company and applied for
Australia's Working Holiday Visa
valid for one year and left for Australia by myself.

@@In Australia, I challenged all I wanted to do such as going to school,
working in local cruise company as a crew, getting a diving license,
working in an animal farm to take care of lots of Australian animals
such as koalas,kangaroos, sheeps, horses,
emus(Australian birds look like ostrich),
and I traveled around most part of Australia
carrying a big backpack alone for 3 months.

@@I realized how joyful to work on cruises in Sydney,
and fortunately I had a chance to work in an international cruise company
immediately after I returned to Japan,
so I left Japan again and started to work on a very big cruise ship.

@@It was really a big ship I even used to get lost inside of the ship
for first 1 month.

@However, it was very fun because I made friends with many crews and passengers
from around the world, and visited many many beautiful places when I was off-duty.
I'm still keeping touch with some of them.
All of those are wonderful experience for me.

@@And I met my Filipino husband who was also working as a crew there
and I got married to him.

@@We are now living in the Philiipines happily and comfortably.
@@My husband's relatives treat me nicely.

@@My children are growing fast.
It's usually said in Japan that bringing up a child
who was born in summer is very easy,
so it's very easy here in the Philippines
because always summer here.

When@I took my daughter to Japan in March,
she had a runny nose because of the temperature difference
between the Philippines and Japan.
My husband and me woke up many times during the night everyday
because my daughter's arms got out of blanket and got cold.
We were afraid if she might have chilblains.

I might had hard time because I'm not used to taking care of child in cold weather,
but it's true that it's easy in the Philippines
because there is no great temperature difference through the year.

@@Actually I myself hate cold weather
and used to have chilblains even in warm season like April.
That's why I 'm fit to live in the Philippines rather than Japan.
